mcg
The Michael Cohen Group (MCG) designs, conducts, and delivers customized research studies and scientific evaluations tailored to the specific goals of each client. Since 2022, founder Michael Cohen and his team have been valued partners of the ELC, beginning with their needs assessment work at Bennington College and a white paper The Next Generation(s) of Higher Education Students 13–18 Years Old (7th–12th Grade): Research Findings, Notes, and Reflections, prepared for the Endeavor Foundation. Since then, MCG has carried out additional needs assessments and evaluations for institutions including Sterling College and Warren Wilson College, and continues to serve as a trusted thought partner in our ongoing work.

The Institute on Trauma and Trauma-informed Care
The University at Buffalo School of Social Work’s Institute on Trauma and Trauma-Informed Care (ITTIC) supports organizations and individuals in understanding the impact of trauma and creating systems that avoid retraumatization, particularly for vulnerable populations. Through training, consultation, coaching, and evaluation, ITTIC helps organizations—including institutions of higher education—implement trauma-informed practices and drive meaningful culture change. As part of their partnership with the ELC, ITTIC developed and delivered a three-part webinar series, Trauma-Informed Approaches in Higher Education, offering practical guidance for fostering trauma-sensitive environments on campus. We look forward to our continued thought partnership with ITTIC.
